The Ottawa Police Department’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit (SACA) has charged Andreea Andrei, 37, and Harry Andrei, 38, with sexual assault and sexual exploitation. Police allege that the attack and exploitation involved a teenage girl and boy under the age of 18 and took place while the teacher was working at a Montessori school in Ottawa between 2017 and 2021. The couple was scheduled to appear in court on Monday. “The SACA unit is concerned that there may be other casualties, as the woman was also working as a teacher in the Toronto area prior to 2017,” an OPS media statement said.
