The Packers with three rounds of mock draft, including two huge trades, one with Jordan Love heading to the Seahawks. You’re either going to love this blissful three – round Green Bay Packers plan or you’re going to hate it. Either way, this is a lot of fun. Pro Football Focus has updated the foreclosure simulator to allow players to be included in commercial promotions. Well, it was just tempting to miss the opportunity to play Packers GM and see what I could do. Using the simulator, this is the virtual three-round blueprint I was able to make for the Packers.
Round 1 (22): Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia
A dream start in the first round. If Georgia defender Devonte Wyatt is still on the board when the Packers clocked in, Brian Gutekunst will not need much time to make his decision. Green Bay strengthened his defensive line by signing free agent Jarran Reed earlier this season. Adding a potential future star like Wyatt could help take Joe Barry’s defense to the next level. Wyatt is an incredible athlete with a RAS (Relative Athletic Score) of 9.56 out of 10. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah wrote that “Wyatt has tremendous advantages and could become the top home manager in this category.” Both a strong running defender and capable of plenty of inside pass, Wyatt would be a perfect complement to Pro Bowler Kenny Clark, Reed and Dean Lowry along the Green Bay defensive line. Wyatt would be a great choice when looking for a defensive player who could immediately become a key player and make a huge difference for the Packers.
