Two houses and three streets were filmed in the east London neighborhood after an emergency call was made in Etgerton around 4:30 p.m. The road was closed to traffic between Hamilton Street and Dame Street until about six o’clock. An adult man was taken to hospital where he is being treated in a critical but not life-threatening condition.
Police say the investigation is in the preliminary stages, but it is believed that his injuries were caused by an argument with another man who may be known to him. Police officers remained on the scene throughout the night, while a forensic police unit was on the scene. A witness told CTV News that a man was transported from a house covered in blood from head to toe with obvious injuries. The same witness also said that the police entered a different house with regular equipment. Police have not reported any arrests or identified any suspects.
