Police say first responders were called to a home on the 3100 block of Coast Meridian Road on Wednesday afternoon, where they found the victim, who was already dead. In a press release, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said that the death of the victim is suspicious. He said the investigation involved a dispute between people who knew each other. Police did not provide details about the type of clash that took place at the residence. The representative of IHIT Detective Cpl. Sukhi Dhesi said officers are currently gathering information and working with the BC Medical Examiner’s Office to determine what happened. At the moment, police do not believe the death is linked to the ongoing gang clash in Lower Mainland.
