The Sacramento Police Department says the shooting took place early Sunday morning. The video posted on Twitter shows people running in the street as the sound of rapid gunfire could be heard in the background. The video shows several ambulances have been sent to the spot. Police gave few details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but said in a tweet that “there will be a large police presence and the scene remains active.” Phone calls asking for comments were left to Sacramento police. Residents were urged to avoid the area, which is full of restaurants and bars leading to the Golden One Center, where the Sacramento Kings play basketball. I saw a young girl with a whole bunch of blood on her body, a girl pulling out her glass, a young girl screaming saying: “They killed my sister”. A mother runs, “Where is my son? Has my son been shot?” he said. “You know, turmoil, trauma. “It’s just a lot of things that, you know, you do not want to see.”
