It’s almost Easter. The birds are chirping, the bunnies are jumping and it is still ridiculously difficult to buy a PS5. What changed; It has been a long time since its release, however we are all still struggling to find a console thanks to the continuing global shortage of semiconductors triggered by the coronavirus pandemic.
While things certainly looked good in March, as we faced a bad start to 2022 with the worst two months of falls recorded in January, we saw zero stocks last week and this is virtually never the case. We have all our toes crossed and our toes crossed that April will bring many console drops to make up for the whining at the end of the month.

When could Currys renew the PS5?

We did not really manage to create a proper renewal pattern for Currys, as it started selling consoles to the public (without the VIP pass lottery system) only in January. But we’ll probably not see another new Currys stock until next week at the earliest. The retailer last dropped the PS5 on Wednesday 16 March and before Friday 18 February and Friday 28 January. Could AO drop the PS5 this week?

AO is an extremely difficult retailer to anticipate updates, but it tends to refresh the console once every three to four weeks quite often. It last dropped the PS5 on Tuesday, March 8 – the same day as Very, which also downloads the PS5 registration page as soon as stock runs out. AO has dropped every day of the week except Monday, so basically, keep your fingers on alert. AO stocks tend to run out in about 15 minutes, so you need to be quick with that. When could the game re-supply the PS5?

We are also looking forward to a PS5 update to the Game this week. The retailer recently updated the PS5 packages page with new release dates on April 14th. In case you did not know, Game uses the term “release date” when it generally means “release date” or the last release date of consoles from its repository. The retailer tends to restore stocks a week and a half before this reported release date, which means it could fall at any time this week. Could Very update the PS5 soon?

Very has always been the dark horse of the PS5 restock scene, delivering large, fertile drops full of consoles, often lasting hours. So, we’re looking forward to another one, and it may be tomorrow as soon as possible! The console was last dropped on March 8 and usually resets the console on Tuesday once every four weeks. We are in the middle of the standard refresh pattern, which means the retailer could drop some consoles tomorrow. Like AO, Very deletes its product list on the PS5 as soon as the console runs out, so none of the links to the PS5 from this liveblog will work until the console is available. While not a guarantee, there is a very good chance that Very could re-supply the PS5 sometime this morning. We often see the consoles come out live around 10am, with a waiting room opening for the PS5 about half an hour earlier. The console was last dropped on March 8 and tends to refill the console once a month – usually between four and five weeks and almost always on Tuesdays. If you click on the Very link waiting for it to come out live, it will not work. Very removes the PS5 product page after it runs out, so it will not work until it is back in stock. Not surprisingly, most retailers hate Mondays (except BT Shop), but hopefully things will get better tomorrow morning. Hogwarts Legacy Details.
During a Playstation State of Play event, the release date of the magic game was finally given, as well as confirmation of the platforms on which the game could be played. The Hogwarts Legacy was first unveiled in September 2020 with a release date set for some time in 2021. But like many games scheduled to be released during the pandemic, it was postponed to 2022. Why is it harder to find the PS5 digital version of the disc?
If you’ve been watching our stock updates for a while, you’ve probably noticed that the PS5 disc console is much easier to purchase than the digital version. This has been the case since the console was first released in November. When Eurogamer spoke to sources in various retail stores before the console was released, it was informed that about 25 percent of digital consoles and 75 percent of disc consoles were available to retailers. We do not know if the situation has changed since then, but we still see fewer digital consoles falling off the disc consoles. Retailers themselves may also prefer to order on the disc console over the digital one – they cost more (9 449.99) for one and can be combined with physical games to charge a premium. When could PS Direct refresh the PS5

There was a lot of stock on PlayStation Direct when the retailer first released it in November last year, but after the post-Christmas rush, things have dried up completely. The retailer refueled the console once a week for Christmas, sometimes several times a week, but now it only drops once a month. We last saw consoles on Tuesday, March 8, so we hope for another drop sometime this week now that four weeks have passed since our last update.
