The dancer triumphed over Brendan Cole and Kimberly Wyatt – who finished third – in a very tough final, where all three remaining celebrities received multiple perfect scores 40 to 40. The judges of the series – Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo – gave their verdicts for the other three, but it was up to the home viewers to choose their final winner. Speaking after the announcement of their victory, Regan was mostly speechless, but he could admit that he could not believe he had won.
