The dancer triumphed over Brendan Cole and Kimberly Wyatt – who finished third – in a very tough final, where all three remaining celebrities received multiple perfect scores 40 to 40. The judges of the series – Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo – gave their verdicts for the other three, but it was up to the home viewers to choose their final winner. Speaking after the announcement of their victory, Regan was mostly speechless, but he could admit that he could not believe he had won. Reagan could not believe he had won ( Picture: ITV) Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – the last one missing for the semifinals after a positive Covid test – hosted the process, as the three remaining dancers did incredible skating with the latter two dancing in Torvill and Dean’s Bolero. They both impressed with their performances in the iconic routine and there were many tricks in all the other routines, which included amazing lifts, beautiful transitions and two amazing Bolero attempts. He was overwhelmed with emotion ( Picture: ITV) The three of them in the final caused controversy, as they all had a professional dance background. Regan is a trained dancer, Brendan has appeared in Strictly Come Dancing as a professional for several years and Kimberly is best known as a member of the Pussycat Dolls. However, all three denied that it was a “correction” that they were all there instead of other skaters. “If we were all the same, wouldn’t that be a really boring show?” Brendan said, while defending the claims of the fix, “It happened that all three of us had dance experience and now we are all pushing each other to make the most incredible TV.” Reagan and Brendan waited to learn their fate ( Picture: ITV) Kimberley added: “You are never going to convince everyone that you deserve to be there or that you do not deserve to be there. In the end, we all went out there and did our best to create the best series ever. “I think we will go to the one who could be the best finalist of all time – because of the three of us. I am very grateful for my dancing background.” Reagan insisted that the trio had “started from nothing to get here” despite their dancing background, as he says it is a completely different type of movement compared to that on a regular track. read more Where the judges of Dancing on Ice are now – secret romance, evicting and living on stage read more Dancing on Ice finalists respond to allegations that they have an unfair advantage over others
