The Minister of Crime and Police said: “Well, I do not think we have a tin ear. We recognize that it is really difficult out there. “I sit here with my smart meter and it tells me how much time I spend at home, it’s really difficult, we recognize that.” He added: “We have moved in some way to help, as you know, a lot of money that we now hope to enter the system through the tax deduction of the city council and the increase of the national living wage. “But we can not, as the Chancellor said, I am afraid, repair all the damage that these increases in fuel prices are going to cause. “It simply came to our notice then. “If it needs to go further in the future, if our economy allows it, do not forget that we are carrying huge debts right now, then I know it will take it very seriously.”
