Reynolds’ body was found in the Woodburn Reservoir on the outskirts of Carrickfergus earlier this week and three people were arrested on suspicion of murder.  In a tweet released at 10.32pm on Wednesday night, the PSNI said: “Our detectives investigating the murder of Roy Reynolds have been given an extension to detain three people.”

The discovery sparked searches of two homes in the Newtownabbey area on Tuesday afternoon.
