Colonel Yuri Medvedev was allegedly cut by a Russian tank. He is believed to be in command of Russia’s 37th Motorized Rifle Brigade, which is fighting on the outskirts of Kiev. The Western official said: “We believe he was defeated by his own troops.” Footage of the wounded Medvedev being evacuated by stretcher was announced by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov on March 11.
