The injured elder brother of the Sacramento shooting suspect has also now been arrested in connection with the violent spree that killed six people Sunday night.
Smiley Martin, 27, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning while still recovering at the hospital where he is being treated for the incident.
He is accused of possessing a machine gun.
He is the older brother of Dandrae Martin, 26, who was taken into custody yesterday.
According to The Sacramento Bee, Smiley posted a video on Facebook Live shortly before filming, where he posed with his chained shotgun. The video has now been removed.
The couple is not believed to have been the only one involved in the violence, but police have not yet arrested anyone else.
Police confirmed to the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday that a stolen weapon had been used in the shootings and that it had been converted to be used as an automatic weapon, which could fire like a machine gun.
DailyMail.com photos revealed how the disaster covered two blocks of the city, with indicators indicating that more than 250 shots were heard. Police estimate that at least 100 bullets were fired.
Police also received a social media post by Smiley Martin showing him holding the stolen gun the day before the shooting, the LA Times reported.
On Sunday, gunshots were heard at the intersection of 10th Street and K Street in Sacramento as bars and nightclubs exploded. Witnesses reported a mass brawl with several men.
They told police they saw men shooting from vehicles and fleeing with guns in their hands.

Turner’s mother, Penelope Scott, told the Associated Press yesterday: “My son was walking down the street and someone started shooting and he was shot. Why should this happen? “I feel like I have a hole in my heart.”
It is not clear if any of them had anything to do with the quarrel or if they were caught in the crossfire.

Dandrae was taken to Sacramento County Jail last night. He is expected to make his first appearance in court on Tuesday afternoon.
Smiley was injured in the shooting and remains in hospital under police surveillance. He will go to jail as soon as he is hospitalized.
Dandrae’s criminal record includes allegations of bodily harm to a spouse.
He is also being held on a pending warrant from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, according to detainee records obtained by DailyMail.com.
In a statement Tuesday morning, Sacramento police said: “Smiley Martin was quickly identified as a person of interest and remained under the supervision of an officer at the hospital, while his treatment is continuing.
“Based on the information developed during this investigation, Smiley Martin was taken into custody by a Sacramento Police Department detective on April 5, 2022.
“Once Smiley Martin’s medical treatment is completed and he is deemed fit for prison, he will be held in Sacramento County Jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a machine gun.”
Police are still asking for photos and videos from the public. As of Sunday, officials say they have received more than 170 pieces of evidence.
In a statement yesterday, Sacramento County Prosecutor Anne Marie Schubert said she believed more people would be detained. He emphasized the fact that Dandrae had not been charged with murder or manslaughter.
“This person has not been arrested for the homicide associated with this incident. The research is extremely complex and includes many witnesses, numerous videos and important physical evidence. “This is an ongoing investigation and we expect more arrests in this case,” he said.
