The M8 has a flat 4K UHD LCD screen that provides 400 nit brightness, 60 Hz refresh rate, 99% sRGB, HDR support and adaptive image technology that automatically adjusts the screen brightness and color temperature for viewing comfort. The display incorporates Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless connectivity, a micro HDMI port and two USB-C ports, one of which offers a 65 W charging output for phones and laptops. The display features a high-sensitivity Far Field Voice microphone and two built-in 5W speakers, along with a removable SlimFit 1080p magnetic webcam with Face Tracking and Auto Zoom functions that sound similar to Apple’s Center Stage function. Priced at $ 700 depending on the color, the Smart Monitor M8 is available in four “Nature Shades”, including Sunset Pink, Spring Green, Daylight Blue and Warm White. While Samsung has announced that it accepts pre-orders worldwide, the company has not yet given shipping dates.
