The idea of the Game Hub is to place multiple gaming cloud services in a single game library for smart TVs and monitors. So far, the gaming platforms included are GeForce Now, Google Stadia and Utomik – but Samsung has confirmed that the Game Hub will not appear when released on the Smart Monitor M8. The smart display with M80B model number is available in Warm White, Sunset Pink, Daylight Blue and Spring Green crown color options. The screen is extremely thin with only 11.4 mm and can serve as a smart TV and computer screen with the help of a dock. It is also compatible with a range of entertainment and productivity applications. Microsoft recently released Your Phone for Windows 11 as a partnership with Samsung in parallel with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Your phone lets users view the latest applications on their Windows devices that they have recently accessed through their phone. The feature is currently exclusive to Samsung due to its partnership with Microsoft. You can also connect the Smart Monitor M8 to the Samsung SmartThings Hub to control various IoT devices around the house. Specifications for the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 include a 32-inch flat screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a 16: 9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and 400 nits of brightness. Other notable display features include HDR 10+, 4 ms response time, 3,000: 1 contrast ratio and 99% sRGB coverage. The monitor ports include a micro-HDMI, two USB-Cs, an uplink and a downlink that support 65 watts per hour. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 and BT4.2, while audio support includes 2.2-channel 5-watt speakers with two tweeters. The screen also features a USB-C remote control, docking station and a magnetic and removable SlimFit camera that can be fastened to the top panel.
