On March 24, WPS members searched a 900-square-foot home on Weatherdon Ave. in the Grant Park neighborhood of Winnipeg. WPS said the search identified a quantity of fentanyl and Percocet tablets, valued at nearly $ 12,000, about $ 30,000 in cash, a switch and other items that could be used for drug trafficking. An additional $ 3,225 and three cell phones were found in the suspect’s vehicle. Joshua Ari Matteo Saunders was arrested and remanded in custody. He faces multiple charges related to drug trafficking, non-compliance and possession of stolen property and weapons. None of the charges have been proven in court.
