Estelle’s son Glenn Harris told Deadline: “It is with great sadness and grief that I announce that Estelle Harris has passed away this afternoon at 6:25 p.m. “Her kindness, passion, sensitivity, humor, empathy and love were practically unrivaled and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.” Estelle played Jason Alexander (George Constanza)’s mom on screen, Estelle Constanza, in the hit American comedy series “Seinfeld”. The star of the screen is also known for the expression of Mrs. Potato Head in the movies “Toy Story”. Estelle’s filmography includes “Suite Life of Zack and Cody”, “Tarzan II”, “Kim Possible” and “The Pinocchio Shop”. The actress and comedian started by making TV commercials. In 1977, Estelle made her acting debut in the Jewish drama comedy “Looking Up”. In 1952, Estelle met the showcase salesman Sy at a dance and they were married just six months later. They welcomed their first child, Eric, into the world in 1957, Glenn was born four years later and they had a daughter named Taryn in 1964. Estelle and Sy were involved in an unpleasant car accident in 2001 after the latter’s car had a flat tire and overturned twice. Xi sadly died last January. Estelle was also survived by her three grandchildren.
