Estelle died Saturday at her home in Palm Desert, CA, just outside Palm Springs. Glenn’s son says he died of natural causes, adding: “It is with great sadness and grief that I announce that Estelle Harris has died this afternoon at 6:25.” Glenn went on to say: “Her kindness, passion, sensitivity, humor, empathy and love were virtually unrivaled and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.” Estelle played a noisy, aggressive and confrontational mom who rushed to face her husband and George in the fall of the hat. Short story … it was hysterical! And, speaking of history … Estelle played Mrs. Potato Head in the 3 most recent “Toy Story” movies. There is so much more in her CV … “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”, “Tarzan II”, “The Pinocchio Shop” and endless voice works. Estelle was a New Yorker by birth and took a long break at Night Court. She was married to Sy Harris from 1953 until 2021, when she died. They left her 3 children – Eric, Glenn and Tarin, as well as 3 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Estelle was 93 years old. RIP
