There is a significant increase in the prices of diesel and furnace oil in some areas of Labrador. The Utilities Council raised the price of diesel in Labrador West and Churchill Falls by 38.9 cents a liter. Stove oil in both Labrador West and Churchill Falls rose 33.81 cents a liter. The PUB says that while the next price adjustment is not scheduled until midnight on Thursday, it continues to monitor daily reference prices for fuel and make adjustments as needed.
