The Falster Gen 6 smartwatch is available in five styles with a 42 mm case size in colors such as silver, anthracite and black. The watch will be compatible with all 20mm straps and bracelets. Its price will be Rs 21,995 at the time of release. “This new, Danish-inspired Skagen iteration brings Gen 6 technology to users without compromising our commitment to modern design. “We believe that you should not choose between the best technology in the class and your personal style,” said Steve Evans, head of Fossil Group EVP, in a press release. Skagen is a subsidiary of Fossil. Comes in a stainless steel or nylon case and features a 1.28-inch 326 PPI touch screen. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC SE. The device has an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, altitude, PPG heart rate sensor (photopopsy), SpO2 sensor, out-of-body infrared sensor and ambient light sensor. It can be quickly charged via USB via a supplied magnetic “package”. According to Skagen, the device can charge up to 80 percent of the battery capacity in 30 minutes of charging. The company claims that “Smart Battery Functions” and the reduced power consumption of the watch work in conjunction with the energy efficiency of the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform to offer users more than 24 hours of battery life without the use of the built-in “extended” battery way “. The Falster Gen 6 Smartwatch is advertised as “waterproof” up to 3 ATMs. Both Android and iOS users should be able to use the smartwatch to make connected calls and use Google Assistant with voice-activated voice answers.
