Snow outside the lakes fell as much as 10 to 15 inches[10-15 cm]in areas of Bruce, Gray, Huron and Perth counties on Sunday. Snow and wind created dangerous road conditions that contributed to many accidents, including one north of Bayfield. Highway 21 from Port Elgin to Kincardine was closed for much of the morning due to poor visibility. Stormy, snowy weather should not last long, as the double digits of the day return in the middle of the week.
