“The dispatchers had problems obtaining information from the chaotic scene,” the fire department said in a press release. “Some residents went to a house near the site and other injured people ran south on Logan Farm Road to escape.” The victims include four men and a woman aged 17 to 33, according to the Colleton County Fire and Rescue Service. They were taken to hospital for further treatment, police said. One is in critical but stable condition, according to police. It is not clear what led to the shooting or whether law enforcement officials have made arrests.
