Police are investigating whether speed and alcohol may have contributed to a serious single-vehicle rollover in Mississauga.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night in the southbound lanes of the 410 Freeway, just before the 401 Freeway.
According to the OPP’s Highway Safety Division, a 22-year-old man was taken to a trauma center with a “life-changing” injury.  Two other women in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.

Investigators said while they were investigating this crash, the driver of another vehicle drove through the road closure at a high rate of speed knocking over cones and flares.  They were arrested after a roadside breathalyzer failed and charged with impaired driving (blood alcohol level over 80 milligrams) and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
