The 64th Annual Grammy Awards took place in Las Vegas last night and was great for Kirby fans (we honestly never thought we would say such things). The 8-Bit Big Band, which has 194,000 subscribers on YouTube, won the “Best Adapted, Instrumental, Ή A Capella” category for its beautiful version of “Meta Knight’s Revenge” by Kirby Super Star. Adapted by Charlie Rosen and Jake Silverman, the track has garnered 230,967 views on YouTube at the time of writing, although we suspect this will increase dramatically after their Grammy win.
