First revealed at Opening Night Live, the DualSense Edge is a premium controller that appears to be Sony’s answer to the Xbox Elite line of controllers.
A new PS Blog entry details the highly customizable controller, which lets you set custom control mappings and even disable specific buttons.
Visually, the controller is largely in line with the regular DualSense, but with a few extra elements to bring it up to premium standards. As with the Xbox controller, you can expect interchangeable caps and adjustable dead zones.

While the controller was shown in shadow in the trailer, we can see paddle switches/back buttons on the back (which can be in dome or level configurations), as well as some sort of new surface underneath the analog sticks.
A switch appears on the back shoulder with three settings, which likely adjust the travel of the triggers, a new feature for the controller.
