NEW YORK, March 31, 2022 / CNW / – Today, the global technology brand OnePlus officially unveiled its newest flagship smartphone – the OnePlus 10 Pro – in the United States and Canada. The OnePlus 10 Pro features the second-generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile, the fastest performance on any OnePlus smartphone to date, and a 120 Hz display with enhanced LTPO technology and Dual Color Calibration. Hasselblad second generation mobile camera
The Hasselblad camera for the OnePlus 10 Pro second-generation portable devices supports the OnePlus Billion Color solution, which enables the application of natural color calibration with Hasselblad in more than one billion colors. This means that each of the three rear cameras of the OnePlus 10 Pro can download in full 10 bit color resolution. As a result, the device processes 64 times more colors than smartphones that shoot in 8-bit color. In addition, the OnePlus 10 Pro takes photos using the DCI-P3 color gamut, which offers 25% more coverage than the sRGB color gamut used in other smartphones.

Powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 1 mobile platform, the OnePlus 10 Pro continues the brand tradition of delivering industry-leading fast and smooth performance. The OnePlus 10 Pro is also equipped with a 3D passive 5-level cooling system, which is the most advanced cooling system ever on a OnePlus phone and helps maximize performance from its processor.
In North America, the OnePlus 10 Pro supports 65W SUPERVOOC wired charging that can recharge the huge 5,000 mAh battery from 1-100% in just 34 minutes. In addition, the SUPERVOOC 65 W can provide one day of power in just 15 minutes of charging and supports a feature called Smart Charge Protection, which is designed to maintain battery health. Wireless charging is also incredibly fast, with the AIRVOOC 50W pulling the OnePlus 10 Pro from 1-100% in 47 minutes.

The OnePlus 10 Pro 6.7-inch QHD + display benefits from enhanced LTPO technology that allows the device to adjust the refresh rate between 1 Hz and 120 Hz even faster than the OnePlus 9 Pro based on the type of content being displayed. As a result, the OnePlus 10 Pro screen consumes less power than monitors that have stabilized at a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Traditionally, smartphones have their screens calibrated to a certain level of brightness, which means that colors can become less accurate if the brightness is increased or decreased significantly. With Dual Color Calibration, the OnePlus 10 Pro screen is calibrated in two brightness levels – 500 nits and 100 nits – for 50% greater color accuracy when viewing the OnePlus 10 Pro screen in low brightness.
HyperBoost Gaming Engine
OnePlus 10 Pro supports the HyperBoost gaming machine that powers a range of new gaming features designed to deliver a more consistent and responsive gaming experience. These include the General Performance Adapter (GPA) Frame Stabilizer and O-Sync.
GPA Frame Stabilizer aims to reduce the frame rate fluctuation during gaming on the OnePlus 10 Pro and works to ensure that if there is a decrease in frame rate, they will do so gradually and not quickly and dramatically.
O-Sync increases the synchronization speed between the processor and the OnePlus 10 Pro screen up to six times when playing games. This reduces touch response times of up to 30 milliseconds, which means the device responds faster to every touch and scan.

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes pre-installed with Androidxygen 12-based OxygenOS 12.1, with a comfortable design and new features focused on work, rest and play. Like all other OnePlus flagships, the OnePlus 10 Pro will receive 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
