LG announced its exit from the smartphone industry almost a year ago, after a long presence in the category. The company promised that it would continue to release updates for recent devices and has now announced a short list of phones that will be updated to Android 12 in the second quarter of 2022. LG has published its software update plans for the second quarter of 2022 on its Korean website and it turns out that three phones will receive Android 12 in the quarter. You can see these phones below: The company also announced a list of phones that will receive security patches this quarter, namely the LG Q52, Velvet and Wing. It is worth noting that this list applies to the Korean market, so there is no guarantee that users outside of LG’s home area will see these updates in the second quarter.
