Police received a report that a group of young people were pushing a lonely woman on Banks Road in West Kirby at 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 26, when a nearby man intervened. The team then attacked the man, hitting him with kicks and punches, and he needed hospital treatment for a broken rib. He has since been discharged. Now, Merseyside police have released CCTV images to help identify the three men pictured, who may be able to assist with the investigation. Detective Inspector Emma Kerrigan said: “This was a constant and shocking attack on a man who was simply not ready to accept the bad behavior of the young people involved.
