Social media consultant Matt Navarra posted on Twitter the findings of Twitter user Hammod Oh, who often discovers upcoming features on various social networking platforms. The screenshot of Oh indicates that the “Tracking History” option will appear under the “Content and Activity” heading of your settings. There are not many details yet about what the Watch History page will look like or how it will compile your previously watched videos. The Verge contacted TikTok about the possible feature but received no immediate response. The lack of a track history button has led most of us to look for solutions – and while there are some, it is not as simple as just pressing a Track History button. One process involves filtering your search results based on the videos you have seen, while another requires you to download all of your TikTok data to find a single video. If TikTok really gets this feature, it will save a lot of time for all of us.
