Footage from cell phones appeared showing two men hitting each other in the middle of the street. The race is said to have taken place at the intersection of Crosby Road North and South Road on Friday (April 1) at tea time.
The two men appear to be fighting as drivers blow their horns in protest. ECHO shared the disturbing video with the police. One of the men, who was wearing a dark tracksuit, appeared to be around 20. The other man appeared to be in his 30s or 40s. Towards the end of the clip, the old man gave a series of heavy blows to his opponent. At this point a driver appears to be getting out of his car. The video was widely shared on WhatsApp teams on Friday night. A taxi driver sent a copy of the video to ECHO.
