All four people are related to each other, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office. Officers from the Lynn Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 98 Rockaway St. just before 3 a.m. Tuesday and found two men, ages 34 and 66, dead from apparent gunshot wounds, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett told WCVB. A neighbor reported hearing up to 20 gunshots at the scene. Police have identified a 31-year-old woman as a possible suspect, Blodgett said. Just before 4:30 p.m., officers found the woman dead inside her car in a Stop and Shop parking lot about a mile away at 35 Washington St., the DA said. Officials determined he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police later discovered a fourth person dead – a man in his car at 44 Laighton Street, less than half a mile from the Stop and Shop. Police sources told WHDH that the victim is believed to have been killed by the same suspect. All four people are related, Blodgett said. The exact nature of their relationship was not immediately disclosed. Officials have not yet released the identities of the individuals pending family notification.
