At around 4am troopers were called to a car possibly involved in a collision on Trebein Road. When troopers arrived at the scene, they found the car in a ditch abandoned, according to a release. A wrecker was called to the scene to pull the car out of the ditch. Trooper Dylan Dunlap was assisting with traffic control when he was struck by a car driven by Opal Cboins, 42, of Xenia, according to OSHP.
OSHP: 1 dead after two vehicle crash in Wilmington Dunlap was taken to Kettering Health Soin Medical Center with minor injuries. He has since been treated and released. Cboins was not injured during the crash. The road was closed from 5am to 9am while crews cleared the scene. The crash remains under investigation. OSHP reminded motorists to proceed with caution whenever they see flashing lights ahead. ©2022 Cox Media Group
