Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after being shot twice in Harris Point, Gander Bay early this morning. The Gander RCMP was called shortly after midnight to report that a man and a woman had been shot. Both were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The house where the incident took place is being held for further investigation. Police say there is currently no risk to public safety.
