Police in the western Ukrainian city say they have discovered the man had videotaped a rocket flying towards the target and hitting it. He said he also had photos on his cell phone of military checkpoints in the area that had been sent to two Russian numbers. The governor of Lviv said five people were injured in several rocket attacks in the city on Saturday. A car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Lviv, killing at least 14 people and wounding dozens more. The Russian Defense Ministry said it had fired high-precision cruise missiles at military locations in the city, including a fuel depot and a plant used to repair anti-aircraft systems, radar stations and tanks. Ukraine has said it has blocked dozens of Russian spy operations in the invasion so far. The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) announced that it had arrested more than 350 agents involved in sabotage and reconnaissance missions to Russia. The SSU said it had recently intercepted a group of armed agents in Kyiv posing as a Ukrainian military unit. Businessmen have been involved in a wide range of covert activities, the SSU said, including gathering information about the Ukrainian military’s moves to raise awareness of Russian attacks. A fuel plant near Kyiv was destroyed on Thursday. Russia has said it was a key supplier to the Ukrainian military. Russia has also said it has launched long-range sea-based missiles in development of S-300 missiles and BUK anti-aircraft missile systems near Kyiv. Moscow said Friday it considers its military objectives largely complete and will focus on the “main goal, the liberation of Donbass,” the region of eastern Ukraine where fighting between separatists and the government in Kyiv has been going on for eight years. Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that he wanted a compromise from Russia on the region.
