Vernon RCMP have three people in custody in connection with a stolen vehicle. Justine Pihl, 32, of Vernon, Andrew Pouliot, 31, of Armstrong, and Bryce Inglehart, 29, of Vernon, are charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and three counts of failure to comply with a parole order. Police received a report Monday of suspicious activity in the parking lot of a business in the 4900 block of 27th Street in Vernon. The suspects took off in a white Ford truck as police arrived, says Vernon RCMP spokesman Const. Chris Terlesky. “Based on information from witnesses, the investigating officer quickly determined that the van was the one that had been stolen from a business in Vernon over the weekend,” Terleski said in a news release. “A member of the public spotted the van driving erratically north of town and with the assistance of an RCMP Air Services helicopter, police directed it to a location on Irish Creek Road where officers arrested the three.” Along with the van and other property, officers also found a stolen ATV. The police are continuing their investigations.
