ANYWHERE The films with the most Oscar nominations include The Power of the Dog (which has 12 coins), Dune (10 recognitions), Belfast and West Side Story (seven nominations each) and King Richard (six coins). Along with these movies in the best picture category are Apple + TV CODA, Netflix Don’t Look Up, Drive My Car, Licorice Pizza and Nightmare Alley. Broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, the event will be broadcast live with American Sign Language Interpretation on the Academy’s YouTube channel for the deaf or hard of hearing, marking the first for the ceremony. The program includes the first live performance of Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and will feature four of the five songs submitted. Sebastián Yatra will sing “Dos Oroguitos” by Lin-Manuel Miranda by Encanto Beyoncé and will sing “Be Alive” (co-written with Dixson) by King Richard. Billie Eilish and brother Finneas will perform “No Time to Die”, which they co-wrote for the latest James Bond film, and Reba McEntire will sing “Somehow You Do” by Diane Warren from Four Good Days. A band with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, Sheila E., pianist Robert Glasper and Oscar-winning music director Adam Blackstone will also appear. This year’s festivities also include the new Fan-Favorite award, which will recognize the film with the most votes from a Twitter poll. Oscar 2022: Red Carpet Date and Time Vanessa Hudgens, Terence Jay and fashion designer Brandon Maxwell will host the ABC Red Carpet Coverage, which begins at 3:30 p.m. PT / 6: 30 p.m. ET. The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. MI! will also cover the red carpet from 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET, and Laverne Cox, E! Zanna style correspondent Roberts Rassi, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown and Naz Perez will comment.
