The West Kelowna Warriors will celebrate the life of former Warrior Parm Dhaliwal during a ceremony before their Oct. 1 game against the Penticton Vees. Dhaliwal died on July 30 in New York. His body was discovered in a downtown hotel room that morning. He was only 23. Dhaliwal’s family and friends will be present at the ceremony. “I’m excited for the Warriors organization and fans to welcome friends and family of Parm to Royal LePage Place on October 1st for a night of celebration and great hockey in honor of Parm in the Okanagan,” said director of business development and communications Chase Johnston . Dhaliwal played three seasons with the Warriors from 2016 to 2019. He was unable to play his final season in 2019-2020 after a career-ending concussion.
