The incident happened around 6:10 p.m., according to BC Emergency Health Services, which said it sent 11 ground ambulances and an air ambulance to the scene on Keith Street. Of the 10 patients taken to the hospital, two were in critical condition, three were in serious condition and five were in stable condition, EHS said. According to information, the vehicle was leaving the road when it speeded into a crowd of people. The 400 block of Keith Road is closed as police investigate.
