The White House said Tuesday that President Biden did not accidentally divulge secret information as he tried to clear up a blunder he made while talking to US troops in Poland last week. Biden was speaking to US troops in Poland on Friday when he appeared to suggest they would soon be in Ukraine itself – something US officials have repeatedly ruled out. Pressed again, Biden said: “I was talking about being and talking to the Ukrainian troops in Poland.” Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich asked White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield during Tuesday’s press conference if Biden had mistakenly revealed “a hitherto unknown US attempt to train Ukrainian forces in Poland.” White House Spokeswoman Jen Psaki (L) and White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield (R) are waiting for President Joe Biden to comment on the COVID-19 vaccination program at the White House Rose Garden on May 13. 2021 in Washington. This is something that is known. … This in no way reveals compromised information. Having said that, I have nothing more to say about it than what the president said yesterday. “ CLICK HERE TO RECEIVE THE FOX NEWS APPLICATION Another journalist later pressed: “Are they training in Poland or not?” “Well, as I said, there is a regular interaction between the Ukrainian troops in Poland and the American troops that the President saw on the trip,” Bendingfield replied. “I can add nothing more to that than say that there is regular interaction. As you can see, we were near the border, and there is regular interaction between these troops he saw and the Ukrainians.”
