Police say the woman was walking from the park to Bow River Pathway when someone grabbed her from behind and tried to drag her to the river. The woman managed to free herself and fled, reaching a nearby security guard, who called the police. Researchers are now looking for CCTV footage from the area. “All Calgary residents should be able to move around our city at any time of the day, in any location without fear of damage,” said the Sgt violent crime investigation team.
