Margaret Pearson was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after an accident on Todd Street in Glasgow at around 22:50 on Sunday 27 March. The 75-year-old, who was riding in a black Mercedes E220 private car when it collided with a Ford Fiesta, died four days later. A 56-year-old pedestrian was also seriously injured in the incident, who has since been discharged from the hospital after treatment. Police again appealed to witnesses as they tried to prove the full circumstances. Sergeant Adnan Alam of the Glasgow Traffic Police Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends, as well as with all those affected by this incident. “We are continuing the investigation to determine the full circumstances that led to this incident and I will urge anyone who can help to get in touch. “You can call 101 by mentioning the number 3829 of March 27.”
