The British Columbia Public Prosecutor’s Office says Susie Jasmine Saad pleaded guilty in court on Monday to a single charge affecting nine children, including one child who died. There is a ban on posting all names of children except Macallan Saini, a 16-month-old boy who was found not responding to a playpen in January 2017. The prosecutor’s office says the case has been postponed to next month, when a date is expected to be set for Saad’s sentencing. The agency says it expects a previous charge against Saad alleging more than $ 5,000 fraud to be dropped at the end of the sentencing process.
