It happened at an address near Creditview and Britannia streets around 3:15 p.m.
Rescuers say a male victim was rushed to a trauma center with critical, life-threatening injuries as a result.
Police say they are looking for many suspects who were seen leaving the area.
No suspicious descriptions have been released at this time.
