Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi said this morning that Sajid Javid, the health minister, would give details on Friday. The cabinet minister predicted that the UK might need to live with Covid for the next decade. He told Sky News: “In some parts of the economy where we need to do more testing, he will say more about it. “But in reality, between the vaccine and our radar system, the ability of the genome to sequence, I think we are in a strong place to continue living with the virus now. “We have to live with it, I do not know for how long, maybe five, six, seven, 10 years.”
